I’m exhausted and Horace is pretending to be a species of vegetable so he doesn’t
have to mention CUSS,so our friend Kookie has stepped into the breach. He wants to
say,in his inimitably honest way (just look in his eyes) that we make dog and cat
cushions, shaped extra covers to protect the parts of the furniture your furry
friend sits on -
anti macassar ,is to us a ‘rabbit blanket’ after a sweet little lop eared bunny who always came in from the garden with dirty feet ,hopped onto a particular corner of the sofa,and went to sleep. The, ahem, incontinence problem was also an issue,so a couple of matching squares to shake’n’wash were very useful.
We wish we had a foolproof way of stopping cats from scratching sofas and chairs,repellents sometimes work,sometimes choosing a relaxed look,rather than tailored, loose cover helps too,as does choice of fabric.
